2008 Tarheel Tour Info

The 2008 Tarheel Tour schedule will once again begin in February in the Charleston, South Carolina area. The tour will continue to play the best golf courses in the industry and will once again run from February up until PGA Tour qualifying school in October.

Prepay: All players who prepay for the 2008 season will save a total of $1000 on fees for the 2008 season. The total prepay price for 2008 is $19,400. All prepay members will be able to withdraw from three events over the course of the season and will be refunded $900 for each of these events. Players who choose to prepay for the 2008 season must pay $10,000 by November 30. The balance of $9400 is due to be paid by January 10, 2008. All prepay players will be entered into a drawing to win their own personalized website for the 2008 season. The site will be of the same quality as the Tarheel Tour website, and will be maintained and updated by Gottalife International Design. This website is valued at $10,000.

Membership Fee

If paid before Nov 15, 2007 $1000
If paid after Nov 15 but before January 10 $1250
If paid after January 10 $1500
Membership fee is refundable for any reason until January 15th 2008

Entry Fees

Members: $900 per event
Non-members: $1075 per event

Schedule

The 2008 Tarheel Tour schedule has now been released. The schedule features a total of 21 events including the 2008 Southern Open and the 2008 Tour Championship.

Member benefits: All Tarheel Tour members will have their own player profile page on the website. Player profiles will include all statistics, results, bios, and every member will have his own personal photo gallery including pictures from every event during the 2008 season. Members will also be eligible to play the Tour Championship with added money the week prior to PGA Tour qualifying school. This will be a member’s only event. Members will also have priority entry into all events. Members of the Tarheel Tour in 2008 will also be entitled to special housing rates in the Charlotte area, country club memberships at Charlotte area golf courses at discounted prices, private housing when available at traveling events, and discounted equipment from most major golf industry manufacturers. The top-20 members on the 2008 Tarheel Tour money list will also be eligible to receive free golf balls, gloves, and hats from Titleist. All Tarheel Tour members will receive a Tarheel Tour hat and shirt.
