BUSHNELL NAMED THE TITLE SPONSOR OF EGOLF TARHEEL TOUR EVENT AT LITTLE RIVER AND SEVEN LAKES

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – February 27, 2009 – The eGolf Tarheel Tour announced today that Bushnell has officially signed on as title sponsor of the tour's event at Little River Golf Club and Seven Lakes Country Club in the greater Pinehurst, NC area on April 8-10, 2009. The event will be known as the Bushnell Championship.

The eGolf Tarheel Tour is the only third-level professional golf tour that allows distance measuring devices to be used during official tournament rounds. The policy was put into place at the start of the 2007 season as a means for assisting pace of play.

"Since allowing rangefinders to be used during tournament play in 2007, we have noticed an even better pace of play in our events as players can get all the information they need with one click of the button," said eGolf Tarheel Tour president David Siegel. "Bushnell produces far and away the best distance measuring devices in the business, so we wanted to take advantage of this relationship since it creates a win-win for both parties."

Players in eGolf Tarheel Tour events are allowed to use rangefinders during play, but any features that measure slope, grade or wind must be turned off.

Bushnell produces five variations of their rangefinders, all of which are used by some of the best players in the world: Pro 1600 Tournament Edition, Pro 1600 Slope Edition, Tour V2, Tour V2 Slope Edition and Medalist.

"We have had a plethora of success on the PGA Tour with our distance measuring devices as most caddies out there will not work practice rounds without one," said Bushnell tour representative Royce Nielson. "We are happy to be a part of the eGolf Tarheel Tour and hope that our devices allow them to maintain a fair playing ground while helping to speed up the game."

In addition to the event sponsorship, Nielson will be present at select tour events throughout the 2009 season and will offer Bushnell products to eGolf Tarheel Tour members at a reduced cost.

The 54-hole Bushnell Championship will be contested over both courses and will feature a purse of $220,000 with an estimated $30,000 going to the winner. This will mark the first time in the tour's history that an event has been contested at either Little River or Seven Lakes.

The 2009 season will kickoff in the South Carolina Lowcountry on March 11-13 with the FairwayStyles.com Open. Players wishing to enter this event may do so here.
